Our members are family owned businesses that want to perpetuate the business within the family. Geographically we serve the six-county region including Sacramento, South Placer, El Dorado, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties. Family-owned business cover many industries and range from small to very large businesses and franchises.
FBC membership gives you all-inclusive pass to our educational and networking opportunities. Included with your yearly membership dues is access for you and your family/employees to attend all family business forums and social events, at no additional charge. Membership also includes discounted rates for special events and member rate for tickets to the Generations Conference. Plus, what most members value most is member-only access to our Affinity Group Meetings. These meetings are the heart of FBC and are designed for optimum sharing, learning and connecting, with like-minded family business owners and family members. In addition, members get access to our member only website for connecting with other families, asking questions on our discussion forums, and utilizing our resource center. As a non-profit membership organization, serving the family businesses of the Capital Region, our sole focus is to provide support and help to our region's family businesses grow and prosper. |

Our sole focus is to provide programs, networking, and support dedicated to helping family businesses grow and prosper. Family-owned businesses have unique challenges that span beyond the day to day operations or gaining market share. We understand those challenges and have dedicated our programs and affinity groups to address those needs. We provide a “safe” space for family businesses to come together, share experiences, and learn from each other.
