The Capital Region Family Business Center

The Capital Region Family Business Center was created in order to assist family businesses in meeting their unique challenges and to be a resource center for issues related to family businesses.

It is the only organization in the region devoted to helping family businesses meet their unique needs. This is accomplished through special educational workshops, round-table discussion groups and relationship building social events.

Announcement: New Executive Director

Sacramento, July 6, 2016 — The Capital Region Family Business Center (CRFBC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stella Premo as its new executive director. Ms. Premo’s addition to the CRFBC signals a continued emphasis on the organization’s growth in Northern California and ongoing support of family owned businesses in the Sacramento region.

Ms. Premo comes aboard as CRFBC prepares for the Generations Conference, slated for January 2017.  The two day conference will bring together family businesses from across Northern California for lectures, workshops, team building, and networking.  Ms. Premo’s leadership experience will be instrumental in building out the programs and ensuring the conference’s overall success.

Most recently, Ms. Premo served as Executive Director, Director of Education Programs for NextEd.  Her prior experience includes leadership positions with Sacramento State, the California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Premo is an active member of the community and has served on the Board of Directors of American Leadership Forum (Class XIII), California Highway Patrol Citizens Oversight Committee, and the California Workforce Investment Board.  Recognized for her outstanding leadership in the business community, Sacramento Magazine named Ms. Premo one of Sacramento’s 30 Most Powerful Women and the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce named her one of Sacramento’s Inspirational Latina Leaders.  Ms. Premo holds an eMBA from Sacramento State and bachelor’s degree in Business Management from St. Mary’s College.
