What’s in a name? Since inception, our non-family service providers have been known as “sponsor members”, a name that fit for many years. But, as the FBC has evolved its programming, so have we needed to evaluate other aspects. While we are not changing how we work with these valued members, we will now call them Technical Advisors (TAs). The TAs function as industry experts and lead many of our educational workshops, facilitate panel discussions and serve on committees. They promote FBC events amongst their clients and serve to help us deliver the highest level of programming and grow our membership. If you are curious as to whom our list of TAs includes, please take a look at Technical Advisor Members section of our website.
During the recent Programs + Events meeting and planning session, the committee elected to keep the same format for next year with the additions of a few educational workshops and a social event. The committee will announce the schedule once a few more dates and details are solidified.
The Membership committee is also hard at work and actively looking for family business members to join the team! If you are a family business and interested in welcoming new members and connecting with our existing membership, please consider reaching out and we’ll be happy to get you involved.

We are very excited to see many ‘early bird’ registrations for the Generations Conference! The Generations Conference Committee has been working very hard on not only developing the outstanding line up of keynote speakers, but also the breakout sessions. We have taken your feedback very seriously and used it to guide our programs. This is also why we love to spend a little one-on-one time with you during our Thank You Blitz and at other times throughout the year. If you have programming ideas or your family business has crossed a milestone that you would like to share, please let us know. We’d love to hear from you.
