Adaptive Management & Leadership in Uncertain Times
Ron Heifetz, a leading researcher on the challenges of adaptive leadership, describes an adaptive challenge as, “a gap between a desired state and reality that cannot be closed using existing approaches alone. Progress in the situation requires more than the application of current expertise, authoritative decision-making, standard operating procedures or culturally informed behaviors.”
In today’s tumultuous time’s leaders must be facilitators of productive and creative explorations, they must be the builders of courageous actions, and they must be the first to learn, adapt and repeat the cycle of change. This program will help managers and leaders to reflect on core skills of adaptive leadership, how to implement and improve upon them, and how to cultivate their consistent application in their teams.
